Timothy Kovacs - Baldwin Park Education and Family Services Leader
An experienced educator and licensed marriage and family therapist, Timothy Kovacs has served in the Baldwin Park and the surrounding Southern California region. Timothy Kovacs focuses on programs that support children and families within school and community settings, emphasizing collaboration and consistency in early childhood development.
Since 2005, Mr. Kovacs has served as adjunct faculty at Azusa Pacific University. In 2010, he became an assistant director of the early childhood education department at Baldwin Park Unified School District, where he oversees mental health, compliance, nutrition, health, and enrollment. He also manages partnerships with local universities for clinical training programs.
Mr. Kovacs earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from California State University, Fullerton, where he graduated magna cum laude. He became a licensed marriage and family therapist in 2005. Outside his administrative work, Mr. Kovacs participates in the First Five LA Data Work Group and remains active in local education and wellness initiatives. His personal interests include baseball, theatre, and travel.
